The Men and Boys Eating and Exercise Disorders Service (Scotland) became a constituted organisation on Saturday 13 July 2013. On Tuesday 29 October 2013, MBEEDS (Scotland) were granted charitable status from the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).
By law, registered charities in Scotland require a constitution to govern the charitable aims and activites taken by the Charity. MBEEDS (Scotland) are an Unincorporated Association by constitution.
Our constituted powers are governed by the OSCR and the Charities and Trustees Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 which states that charities in Scotland have a public duty to make available the latest version of their constitution to the public.
