'Mirin' means to mirror.  It is a condition whereby the sufferer wishes to mimic the body image of another.  The individual follows the same dietry plans and exercise routines of another.  This is dangerous if left untreated due to the different characteristics that make each male unique.  

 

'Mirin' is also a term used on social media whereby males post videos showcasing their muscles for other guys to mimic. Such phrases as 'Are you Mirin bro?' is often attached to memes on websites such as Facebook and Twitter.
