 Channel 4/Mentorn Media [Eddie-Hutton Mills],
 Wednesday 31 July 2013.

Paul Donald appeared in the Channel 4 documentary 'Alex Brooker: My Perfect Body' which was first aired on Wednesday 31 July 2013 at 10:50pm on Channel 4.

Alex set out on a mission to lose weight for a lads holiday and as part of his journey he explored the dangers of 'thinspiration' websites and eating disorders which affect males.  Alex met with Paul and Aaron Miller in London on 19th June 2013 at the Guardian Building in London with Sam Thomas from Men Get Eating Disorders Too.

Paul revealed for the first time of his experiences of his battle with his eating disorder Anorexia Nervosa and how he jointly suffered from Compulsive Exercise Disorder which arose as a result of bullying and the use of 'thinspiration' websites.  The documentary - which was filmed by Eddie-Hutton Mills - highlights the issues of eating disorders and 'thinspiration' websites in a positive manner.

Following the successful reception of Paul Donald's experiences as a male who is a recovering Anorexia Nervosa sufferer, Paul was contacted by Medavia Media to run a story in the Scottish Daily Express to help promote MBEEDS (Scotland) and the dangers of eating disorders and 'thinspiration' websites on a national basis.

The article reflects greatly the experience as a whole which Paul encountered and does shine a brighter light on the impact of 'thinspiration' websites.

MBEEDS (Scotland) was still in its infancy at this time and the organisation was given promotion.

Paul's story was featured in an article in the Love It! Magazine in hopes of getting more males to seek help though female relatives.  Titled,'The Vanishing Man: Paul went from man mountain to bag of bones facing death...', this article tells Paul's journey on an informal capacity.

This article gave our charity lots of press.  Although Mr Donald did not approve of the headline-grabbing title of the article, it did encourage males to seek help from their GP.

 Sound Cloud [Katie Pathaiki],
 Friday 20 December 2013.

As obesity figures grow, so do the number of people who suffer from eating disorders. In a society where thin is beautiful, it's often overlooked that men also feel the pressure to trim down and look like the pop stars girls swoon over, like One Direction, the lads who are proud to leave their t-shirts at home. Katie Pathiaki investigates how Anorexia Nervosa and body image affects men and boys.
